The stigma attached to seeking assistance for mental health challenges can be overwhelming, and a hindrance for many to receive the assistance that they need. It is also difficult to obtain mental health services in South Africa, which also further exacerbates this problem. Here, at Mmuso church, we have come to the realisation that the gap can be bridged through catering for our community through empowering our won people to serve within the church. We have thus established that there is a need to support our partners and their families when they are going through crises and difficulties. 

This is why we have decided to launch the counselling ministry, to cater for this important need. We have decided to create a safe space where people can come and receive Godly counsel and flourish in their different spheres.

When you sign up for counselling here at Mmuso Church, you will receive a maximum of four sessions, either in person or online. Your challenges will be assessed and should you require specialised assistance, you will be referred appropriately.
